SMS automatically saving to SIM??

Tonight my phone started saving all incoming text messages to the SIM card. Is there any reason why it would do this? The memory was not full, and it is empty now anyway, and I did not change a single setting. This is very annoying for one, and I cannot find *any* setting to reverse this. I have gone through Samsung's FAQ, the owner's manual, and every possible setting and nothing hints at changing that feature.
Please help!

Yeah, I'm not sure what's up with that. Mine will occasionally do that, then sometimes it'll do it for days, other times it'll save to the phone for days. It's really odd.

So has anyone found a solution to this yet? I just got a Sync and it's doing the same thing and I can't figure out how to change it.

I'm having the same problem. I haven't found a solution yet, but this is quite annoying... I'm going to try filling up my SIM with old messages, to see if I can force it to always save to the phone... has anyone else had this problem and found a way to fix this setting?
