mmf files and my alert tones

I understand that to set a custom alert tone for text messages they need to be in an mmf file, that was converted from a wav file. I have went through the process multiple times and still when I get the tone transfered onto my phone and go to set it it says "invalid file". I would appreciate any help.. thanks.

You cannot set a custom laert tone for text or even multimedia messages on this phone. I've tried it, called AT&T and Samsung with no success. It's still the best phone out there though, in my opinion.
