volume control on sync

Hi! This is my first time to post here. I bought my husband and son a sync last week....it seems to be a little difficult to work. My daughter and I both have an LGCU500 and we really like our phones. They no longer make the LGCU500 though. I've read some of the threads here that say the sync is suppose to be better...My husband has a hard time hearing his phone. My LG is so much louder. I saw the post on how to put in the code and change the settings...i did just what it said. I set the settings on what the guy had posted as his settings. It didn't make any difference. Do you think I did something wrong? 😲 It's highly possible I'm the first to admit! If someone out there could help me figure it out i would GREATLY appreciate it! Thanks ...

hey there!
i had the exact same problem.
try using the speaker phone and setting the volume to 1 (one). the noise from speaker phone comes out of the earpiece, and if it is set real low, it can make a tremendous difference in the volume.
hope this helps!

Thanks! I appreciate it. I will have him try it. Also I can't figure out how to attach a pic to a certain phone number. You know so their pic will pop up when they call. I tried to do it like i do on my LG but it said i must save file to phone....then i couldn't figure out where to do that at. Thanks again for your help.

The contact has to be saved to the phone, not the SIM to have a picture or ringtone id...

I also did the code thing for the earpiece volume and it worked great for me. It is so much louder. Try it again.

yeah, make sure to save the picture in a .jpg or .bmp format too (this shouldnt be a problem, but might be depending on how you got the picture) but yeah, save it to your phone and it should work!!
good luck!
