Battery Life and MP3 Player

I have my Sync, and I think it's a great phone. No major complaints, strictly nitpicky things.

I do however have a question about Battery Life, I don't use my phone a lot during the day, but it seems as I have to charge it every 3 days. I have noticed that my MP3 player on the phone stays on. Is that draining the battery, how do I shut that down, other then stopping the song from playing.

On a side note, how many hours of MP3 playing do can you get? I'm going to be taking a long flight and I’d like to use my phone as an MP3 on the plane, but I don't want it to die while on the plane, as I might need the phone when I get into the airport.

TIA

I have played my MP3 for up to 12 straight hours through bluetooth and not drained the battery by half. I do recharge every day however. You should probably stop the MP3 player when you aren't using it and turn off the bluetooth connection (if you are using that to play the music) to conserve battery life. But having to recharge every three days doesn't seem excessive either as far as "normal" battery life. Just my thoughts...
