T9 prediction
When using the T9 prediction, my phone thinks that i would rather use "tgd" instead of "the", "9075464" instead of "working", and "5878" instead of "just", just to name a few. Is there anyway to change the first word that t9 predicts? Is anyone else having this problem? Any other ideas of how to fix this? Its really frustrating.

Have an idea. Don't know if it'll work. I've got this model phone, too. The owner's manual says it automatically offers your alternate spelling as its first choice. When you get "tgd," for instance, I would try pushing the "0" (zero) key and toggling through the alternate spellings the phone offers until the screen shows "Spell" above the left-hand "soft" key [top left key, with the 3 dots on it]. Then press the soft key. It will show a little window with either "tgd" or the last alternate word you saw in it. Use the "C" key in the middle to erase that word. Put in "the" and hit the upper left soft key again, below where the screen shows "Add." That may then make it your 1st choice. Hopefully, from then on, "the" will be the first choice you...
