Most new phones with microSD slots support cards as large as 2 GB, which is the limit for the current microSD standard.

Most phones launched before mid-2006 only support 1 GB cards.

A few phones coming out later this year will support the new microSD-HC standard, which allows cards larger than 2 GB.

Just to let you know, the in-phone memory is 60mb, although it does not say it on this website. I have a 1gb microsd card in here and works fine (kingston).

Yeah, i have an entire movie saved as a 3gp file put onto my phone with a 1gig card. this is an awesome phone, i upgraded from a v710 which was pretty crappy. i would get insurance for just 5 bucks a month because the hinge seems a little chincy. but it has everything. Awesome phone highly recommend.
