vibrate then ring
apparently this is a feature verizon phones have been void of for awhile, but my 3+ year old verizon phone could do this..
anyway does anyone know how to make this phone vibrate(without ringing) and then ring after a few vibrates?

A lot of phone stopped doing that. Now, phones (LG Moto's, Samsungs, ect) have a feature that vibrates and rings at the sametime rather then just vibrating 3 times then ringing. On the LG's it's under Menu > Settings & Tools > Sound Settings > Call Sounds > Call Vibrate then click "On" this will enable you to vibrate while the phone is ringing so if you're in a noisy area you'll be able to feel your phone. Hope this helps.

Maybe its an odd glitch but when I get the ring/alarm for new messages/IMs/txt, it will actually vibrate first for a little bit, and THEN it would start to ring. I had actually thought it was odd when I realized it was doing that -- didn't know it was a feature people actually desired.

Someone (I don't remember who) indicated that you could import your own ring with a few seconds of silence on the front end and that would give you the results you want.
