Hey guys..just a quick question. I'm looking to buy a new phone, i still got my VX-8000 (yea its been that long) and my contract is up. Just wondering if you can read txt's from the front screen, i've gotten so used to it over these past two years and i dont think i can live without it 🤭

i don't think so, sorry. to my knowledge the only other phone that could do that is the LG 8100.

Good news yes you can set up the u740 to read messages from outside screen you just have to set the phone to auto recieve the text messages.

I'm sold! 😁 Got to play around with the phone a little in the verizon store. Seems pretty sturdy for such a wild hinge design. And the color isn't as bad as people say it is.
