One ugly phone
Saw this phone in Circuit City yesterday, and the gold color (let's face it, it's 1970's-era pimp gold, not champagne) will keep pretty much any guy, and a lot of girls, from buying it, no matter how cool the dual flip is. Until it comes out in a color other than something Huggy Bear would carry, you'll be seeing it primarily at Girlmania and Color Me Mine. And I agree with other posters who said the feature and specs set left a little to be desired. It's a great design, with already-outdated technology packed into it, in a color only My Little Pony would like. When it comes out in black, silver, gray, or nearly any color than metallic gold, I think it might do well.

ha ha.... tell me how you really feel... I got a good chuckle out of your post. I agree the colour choice is lackluster at best. Verizon seems to do that, they develop a string of good-lookin phones such as the LG 8600, the Q both black and silver, the high end sammys, and then they drop some crayola-nightmare straight outta a 1983 Prince video on us, like the A950 or that curvy blue LG 3450, or even that kyocera kx444.
I wish theyd put together a design plan for the look if heir phones and make the manufactures conform. lord knows they do that on every other aspect.

Wizzard, you are so right. Phone is great size, feels great to use, I like the keyboard and the screens etc. I hope they come out with a black, silver or gray version soon, then I'd be all over it.

another thing besides the ugly color is try flipping it open with one hand you sometimes flip the side open when trying to answer a call it gets a little annoying

I saw and played with a working one at CC today and I completely agree this is hurting. Just a color (like black) would improve it but it would still be too long when opened for talking, too wide for a modern phone, and the buttons are tiny. Speech to text is cool but also needed as anything I texted on here would be gibberish.
