Is there a way for Sprint to tell if your using your phone as a modem if the NAI is disabled? It sure would suck if one were to disable the NAI but have Sprint find out its being used as a modem and be charge 3 cents a kilobyte.

it is technically possible, IF they wanted to do packet-sniffing. they could tell that you were using a full html browser (on your computer) instead of the wap browser in the phone.

but do they "sniff"? not that we know of.

will they? not that we know of.

MSL. Master Subsidy Lock.

and you dont FIND it.

you either call tech support and hope you dont get a giant douche who wont give it to you, or you call tech support and trick them.

heres how:

call tech support and say "i cant make calls, when i try, it says 'account cannot be validated.'"

they will proceed to walk you thru programming. they will tell you to enter ##xxxxxx#. write down that 6 digit number, and hang up on them.
