That is one gripe I had. My other was that VW seriously just has to get rid of the whole v-shop thing where you have to pay for ringtones, games, etc. They are trying to so hard to push this marketing scheme that they end up blocking bluetooth functionality so you can sync it with your computer and put your own music and ringtones on it. I don't know, but to me...when I pay for something like a phone...I feel that in return I should get full ownership and if they install bluetooth in my phone...I want every part of that option under my control and not VW's.
Other than that, I think VW has the best service ever! I don't care what people who love to complain have to say because despite what people gripe about...there is nothing better out there. I have been with AT&T, Voicestream --> T-mobile, Sprint, MetroPCS, and other little companies and have never had as much success with them as I have had with Verizon. The service RARELY fails me (I have to be surrounded by tons of metal and concrete for me not to get a signal, and I have never gotten a drop call to this day (2 yrs later). Verizon actually does what a phone company is designed to do....sell you a product you can talk on. Also, I love how they keep up with all the latest technology and not fall years behind like Sprint (check out their phone selection and you will know what I mean though they are slowly improving). My best experience with Verizon was after Hurricane Wilma...I kid you know....Verizon was THE ONLY SERVICE working after the storm and I applaud them for that. Any company that can pull that off has a customer for life!
