SCH-U620 vs. VX9400

What are your guys thoughts? I think both these phones will kick ass and definitely be each other's main competition.

I'm partial to LG's, plus the vx9400 has a bigger screen.

LG VX9400 will be the easy winner of the 2. Doesn't look so plain like the samsung, bigger, better screen for tv. It's easily the better choice.

If I were picking between the two, I personally would pick the U620. It is most like a phone, and I don't see how you can easily use the VX9400. Dialing? Rotate screen, input number, rotate back, send. Seems very tedious compared to a regular slider. Better screen? Both QVGA...

The 9400's might be a little bigger, but not by much, and I fail to see why having a difficult phone justifies a fraction of an inch.

Although I see the obvious similitude between the two phones, I do believe this is perhaps the most mismatched comparison I've read on this site in a long time. The winner is obvious, so much so that it need not be stated. And seriously, do you really think these phones can compete in the same arena?

dude you don't know what your talking about. These are the only 2 phones about to come out with Verizon's TV service. While granted they do look fairly different, their feature set is literally exactly the same. Its an obvious comparison stupid.

Yes, you are completely correct in saying these two devices have the same features. In that case, one device being deemed better than the other would be deemed solely based on aesthetics and innovation, once again, do you really think the aesthetics of a fairly basic looking slider can be compared to the LG VX9400?

yeah Stupid, I do. Once again, no twice again, I do think that Verizon's only two announced phones, with VCAST TV service and every other exact same feature, being released until APRIL1 2007 are NOT the "most mismatched comparison I've read on this site in a long time".

Yeah aesthetics are important, but they're not the only, or main factor by which most knowledgable people who post on these forums evaluate a phone. Plus aesthetics are pretty subjective, especially when taking into account a phone's flip style, size and manufacturer. Honestly and objectively, its an obvious comparison. Google one and the other comes up. Its cool if you wanna post condescending messeages but at least do so intelligently.

And calling someone stupid is intelligent... Sounds more like grade school name calling...

I agree, stupid is somewhat harsh. I don't even think you can tell someone is stupid from a blog entry; unless they call someone else stupid.

Perhaps pompous windbag would be a better term?

"Although I see the obvious similitude between the two phones, I do believe this is perhaps the most mismatched comparison I've read on this site in a long time. "

Making your sentences long and unnecessarily convoluted and using words like "similitude" doesn't make you sound smart, it just makes you sound like you're trying to sound smart.
