i have a question? ringtones..
I've been wanting to buy the Treo 750 but I have one thing holding me back. I was wondering if you can set a text/ring tone for everyone in your address book, or is it just one for everyone? I really love being able to have everyone set to a different tone.. I'd really like to know this before I buy the phone.

I know you can set seperate ringtones for when you receive a call. As for when you receive a text, you can't. At least I do not see it on mine.
I know with most motorolas whatever ringtone you set for an individual, applies to both when you receive a call or sms.

Yes, you can. I have one for my wife, and a few friends. You can only do it if the numbers are on the phone memory, not the sim card.
For anyone that's not sure how to do this:
You can make mp3 and wma files into ringtones by going to:
File explorer-windows-rings.
Then go to: settings, then sounds, and you can apply the tones to your texts, e-mails. callers, etc....
