GPS
I won't get mine for another week or so, but I was wondering if this has built in GPS, or if you have to get a seperate bluetooth GPS receiver. If so, does anyone know what receivers it is compatible with?

it doesn't have built in GPS.. it does have to option of pairing with a bluetooth GPS reciever.. it works with the blackberry maps software.. which is totally awesome! i think garmin has one coming out that clips to your car visor..

I downloaded google maps on the demo phone and it wouldn't work? any idea why? have you used google maps on the 8100?

Yep, I have used google maps with the 8100. Do you have the Blackberry feature on the demo phone? (I guess so if you were able to download it) I have seen Google Maps sometimes not install correctly, try going into (i think) Options->Advanced Options->Applications then find google maps and delete it then re-install it from a fresh download.
