What if i bought the blackberry pearl from, lets say Ebay...could i go to a verizon store and activate it there and use it with verizon?

Hey sorry you can't do that... I wanted to do that and looked into it more but the thing is verizon uses one kind of signal and all the other carriers use a completely different signal. I wanted to get a cooler phone cause all of verizons are boring and talked to a rep and its not possible... sorry

just switch to GSM, you know you want too that way you can use unlocked phones and still get your hands on the crappy verizon phones...CDMA companies will soon switch so why wait for them and just enjoy better phones now.
