Nokia 5300

Nokia 5300 Operating System

I would like to know what the operating system is for the Nokia 5300. I have the Nokia 6126 right now and it runs S40V3, which is the version where you can assign individual ringtones to contacts. Would I be able to do that on the Nokia 5300?

I know its the latest version of s40
so i'm assuming its s40v3? anyways, im very sure either way, that you;ll be ablt to assign ringtones to individuals. That's almost a standard these days.

I have a question tho, can you make it to where in your contacts, to use only the sim card and not the phone memory contacts?

Okay. That's good to know that it's the same operating system. Yes, you can make it so that the SIM card is the only item being used to store contacts. You can go to the contact and then select Save to and select either save to SIM card or to the phone memory.
