1. There are about 15 channels and MTV is one of them.
2. Yes there is an extra cost, thats "if" you can pick up the service from your area.
3. ANYTHING extra i.e nav, games, music all cost extra and most have a monthly cost also, BUT you can use alot of it 1 or 3 days at a time at a higher rate of cost.
4. The phone is on lockdown there not even Crickets yet
This phone is durable and reliable for service not much for impresive extras, gps is less acurate over 30mph updates every 5-10 secs depending on the signal
