A Verizon Wireless online pre-sales specialist has joined the chat. You are now chatting with Harris.
Harris.: Hello. Thank you for visiting our chat service. How may I help you today?
You: Hello, Harris. You just told me the the LG VX9400 accommodates the SanDisk 4GB MicroSDHC card. How would you explain the following email just received from LG:-----------Reply to Customer Enquiry------------ Dear Valued Customer, We are delighted to hear from you. Unfortunately, your phone does not have that capability. The VX9400 does not support the HC microSD cards. Maximum supported capacity is 2GB. If you have other questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us again either via email, or by calling our customer service division at 800-243-0000 at your convenience. Ms. Tyria Electronic Correspondence Executive (ECE) LG Electronics USA 800-243-0000
Harris.: I'm very sorry for the misinformation.
Harris.: The phone accepts MicroSD cards. I misunderstood your question and thought you were asking about the card size. I also was under the impression that the 9400 was able to support a 4 GB memory card with a software update.
Harris.: Again, I apologize for my wrong answer.
Harris.: Is there anything else I can help you with today?
You: You question makes the assumption that you have already help me once today. You have not. Goodbye.
The above dialogue occurred 5:40 PM Mon 20 Aug 07. What would be the appropriate word to describe VznW's knowledge of the LG VX9400, and the usefulness of VznW website that indicates that:
1) the phone takes up to 4GB MicroSD cards;
(url: http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/store/cont roller?item=phoneFirst&action=viewPhoneDetail &selectedPhoneId=2911&changingCompletedOrder= )
in the second column of the "Phone Details" tab;
2) and, HC cards are a compatable accessory?
