I am a college student and I wanted a PDA that could organize my calender, I wanted something with a QWERTY keyboard, and a notepad. I was wondering if the BB is for me Or the Q?? Also does the BB 8703e have a music player? Thanks

If you are looking for a stable phone that can organize your life, go with the 8703e. I had the Q for five months, and it was a complete nightmare. It's pretty, but that is where it ends. It's a Windows phone so it's full of bugs, it's also a Motorola, so it's full of bugs.

I got used to settling for unstable POS phones and then I got the BB and my eyes were opened again. It's stable, it's easy and intuitive to use (Q is not), the keyboard blows the doors off the Q. I am a fairly big guy, 6'4" and my fingers aren't sausages, but I would be lucky to type three words without mistyping. the BB is a breeze compared to the Q.

Good Luck

i have the 8703e and the Q yes i carry both but work pays for one and the others personal ----the blackberry is probably the best phns for email and durability but if ur looking for a pda with a little extra--camera, expandable memory, voice activation, camera--a multimedia device the blackberry aint gonna help u its more of business professional device---but be warned devices like the q need the ext battery to give u any type of battery life---hope gave u a little more insight but use that 15 return or exchange policy to get a feel for the device

I had a Moto Q for about six months and went through five of them. Battery life on the Q was poor and I was stuck in reset hell most of the time. I wouldn't buy a Q but if a camera and tunes are important check out a BB 8800. My buddy has one and is really happy. BTW, my BB is stable as a rock and I couldn't be happier.
