Switching SIM card over from i830
Hi folks .. non-techy asking question ..
I have an i830 and active Nextel account. If I buy an i880 on e-bay ..can I just switch my SIM card and work ? This would be OK with me even if I have to re-enter all my address book and stuff ..Just need to know if the phone will work..

your phone should work just fine as long as you are getting the phone from someone who previously used the same carrier as you are using. For example, if you are a nextel customer make sure that the phone was previously used on the nextel network. Otherwise you might have to get the phone unlocked!!!

The phone will work fine, the only problem is Nextel account will show i830 as the active phone NOT i880 because your sim card is from the old phone, so if you have insurance and you make a claim they will send you the i830 or i835 not the i880 😁

Does anyone know if the simm card in the i95cl will work in the i880. Thanks
