Samsung SPH-M500
m500 rings soft when open
Is anyone m500 has the same problem / feature that when it is left open the phone rings soft. When the headset is plugged in and is open it rings loud. Did not have this problem on other Samsung phones A840, A680, A460 that I owned.
Any secret setting or menu to get around this?

This is a safety feature.
If you were to be putting the phone up to your ear as you got an incoming call you could suffer hearing damage from the full volume of the speaker. And no, there is no "secret setting" to defeat it.
