We have also received both colors on it, but were told to hold until further notice. The phones somehow got sent out ahead of schedule from the warehouse. 🤤

It is more likely that this person already has Sprint and is looking to replace his or her phone. The T619 is for T-mobile and switching networks may not be a good solution for this person.
Also, the T619 lacks a microSD/Transflash card slot.
But the main reason would be that this person probably already has Sprint, which requires a contract, and switching right away would cost much more money than waiting a few days.
