This phone is due in stores early november and will be available in two colors:

Obviously red/black, but also silver/black.
Tentatively, pricing is set at $279.99 with no contract and $129.99 with a two year contract. No word yet on any additional rebates.

I am curious on somethings though:

It's listed as only A-GPS, but the holiday pre-preview lists it as location based capable. So, which is it?

The features list no headset jack, but it is clearly pictured in the holiday pre-preview.
(It has it of course)

It is significanly lighter than the A900, but does it feel like it's going to fall apart in your hand or does it feel as strong as a samsung should?

So no evdo phone is going to have analog roaming? Hmm, is analog reall...

Both. A-GPS is the technology, just like most CDMA phones. Supporting LBS just means it has the software APIs to let Java apps access location data from the A-GPS system.

There's a headset jack cover, for sure. Whether it is standard 2.5mm is the question. I suspect it is, but I can't confirm that at the moment.

Just a fan of you man, very rarely do I see a tool of your stature, in fact I will be bringing out a new insult just for you. You are now officially a tool box, b/c your more than just a tool. The A900 does not need music store to play MP3's, and it also supports MP4 and 3GP formats, so any reviews of any phones or any input by you, I would put more trust in George W. Bush running this country properly than you putting any information of use.

So what does this make you?
The guy who watches and counts all the bonehead things that bosoxkid does?

There are plenty of people who write reviews and post comments about things that they don't really know about. That's why you have to filter through what they say and learn the facts.

I don't like G-DUB running the country either, but just as in cingular's case, there are more and more idiots out there, and they happen to vote, and buy phones.

If you have any kind of cell phone knowledge (which I assume you do, since you knew what the A900 could do) you should realize that bosoxkid doesn't know as much about phones as others. This is a waste of time and space, and I'm glad I wasted mine (and anybody reading this) to make this p...
