Samsung SPH-M500

I'm having a problem receiving messages from short codes (like a third party ring tone site). My example is this, my bank has a short code that allows you to check your balance. Any time I text it I receive nothing back, however, other chase bankers can do this from their sprint phones and receive something back.

Does anyone know what could possibly be the problem? I already contacted sprint however... they weren't too knowledgeable about the situation.
