HTC Dash / S620 / S621 (Excalibur)
Question for current DASH users
Hello, I am considering this phone as well as the WING and was wondering a few things. For Dash users:
1 does this phone work well with editing word and excel documents?
2 I plan on getting the data plan but not initially. Do my question is do you have to pay for the data plan in order to use WiFi?
3 When you use AIM or messenger services on the dash does it require data plan and does it charge per text msg? if so are there applications that would allow you to use messengers without deducting txt msgs but just uses data?
4 Does anyone know of a 3rd party application website?

1. Yes now that it is loaded with Windows Mobile 6
2. No, you can use Wifi w/o a data plan.
3. I am unsure but would assume you would be fine on Wifi, I don't use IM on my phone currently.

1 It is ok. Still no copy or paste by without 3rd party program.
2 Yes.
3 It uses per text charges for aol, icq and yahoo messenger but not too sure about the msn messenger part since it is intergrated more into MS live services of the phone. Just get unlimited txt.
