Trouble having phone pick up my bluetooth headphone

Is there a simplier way for me to get my phone to connect with my BT headphone? Today, I spend 10 minutes turning bluetooth on and off. I tried to change it to handset profile and it would not do it. Anyone with an answer?

You may have to set your bluetooth headset to pairing mode (read the instructions that came with your headset). Once it is in pairing mode, use the phone and go to Comm Manager/Settings/Bluetooth Settings/Menu/Devices/Add New Device. The phone should then seach for bluetooth devices nearby. I think the key is to put your headset in pairing mode.

I do understand that you must pair the headset. It is paired to my phone and the headset shows up as a device. However, once I turned my phone off and on. It just won't recognize my bluetooth headset. I have to keep turning my bluetooth on and off with my phone.
