"Smart Key" (Key on the top of Nextel phones)
I'm used to using the smart key botton (marked with a square) to scroll through the contacts and used direct connect with the phone closed. it doesn't seem like I can do it with this phone. is this true?

My very layman's look at the phone is that it has the two buttons on top... And I have yet to see a Nextel phone w/o them..

This phone does have the standard "smart key" and speaker buttons on the top.

You guys are missing the question. It DOES have the keys. I know that, I have the phone. What you don't seem to be able to do is scroll through recent callse with the phone closed by using the smart key on top. Thats a pretty big pain in the neck.

Oh snap. that sucks. I'd read the manual and check it out. If it doesn't that is a huge downer.
