iDen is better than CDMA or GSM for the PTT because all the carriers exept Nextel, us VoIP (voice over Internet) for their Push to talk. This means that it takes several seconds for the initial link up, rather than less than a second like iDen. Even after the link up, everything else has a longer latency than iDen. Many contractors also like taht Direct Conect has a diferent phone number that their voice line, as it allows them to give out their cell number, without people chirping them all the time.
So would you agree the qchat won't be as good an IDEN PTT??
