I went from Sprint to Nextel then back to Sprint, they say that they are the same company on the commercials, but the reality is that they have different contract fine lines. Sure the PTT is awesome, but the charges are outrageous when you cross the line and there a pain to work with, unlike Sprint.

My personal experience was when I went to the Mexican border and got charged for international rates for using the PTT, and my wife who had a Sprint phone only got charged her normal monthly fee. The plan I got was the free PTT or Direct Connect with 500 free minutes. I never used the 500 minutes, but Nextel was more then happy to point out the fine print about the FREE PTT/DC in or near Mexico. (Not sure about Canada)

Just make sure you ask the right Q's I didn't and it cost me an additional $160.00 over my planned payment for 4 months.

I'll wait for the next 1 or 2 gens of hybrid phones before I think about it again.
