Hi,

I have a similar problem as well. Most times, my phone won't even start with the card. When it does, the phone performance with the card is erratic. I've tried 5 different phones with 3 different SD cards. I was able to reproduce the same problem each time. I have complained to Verizon and their response is to wait until enough phones are returned until they will take this seriously.

Oh well...

I think they are working on a fix...the maxx is still pretty new and I don't think they have released updated software yet. I have the same problem on my phone. I have found that it tends to work better if you insert the card while the phone is on. I don't turn my phone off often enough for that to be a major issue. The music will disappear on occassion, but if you simply close the player and restart it comes back...

Hey, I just joined phonescoop and was reading through. I have the motorazr maxx and have some frustrations but like it otherwise. But I do have a SOLUTION for the loss of san disk memory after rebooting. Not from Motorola, but just happened to get the right person when I called verizon. Her advice did the trick. She asked me if I had formatted the san disk and I said no, not in the instructions. (it worked but I would loose the card memory nearly evertime I switched from music to phone use) .. so I put the card in my computer and formatted it for FAT 32, reinstalled my mp3's and guess what, no more disappearing memory card. Didn't read all the posts, so maybe someone else mentioned this, but if not..try it, it really works!
