Separation in your Maxx Ve frame?

The Rever

First, I've had this phone for three weeks now and really like it. I will give my review in a couple of days or so.

But I have one question for all the Maxx Ve owners: at the top of the phone and on the sides, is there a slight separation between the back cover and the main part of the phone? On mine there is a slight separation through which I can just see into my phone. I checked at my local Verizon store, and the two I checked also had the separation on both sides.

Should I be nervous?

Couldn't dust get into the phone through it? Does yours have it?

I can't see any seperation on mine. Are you talkin about where the battery cover slides on to the back of the phone? Mine looks tight all the way around. There is a slight gap were the sides of the key pad and the phone body meet. But it seems solid and looks like its suppose to be that way.

It's where the battery cover slides onto the back of the phone. If you were to draw a line from the bottom of the phone to the top, it begins to appear at about the halfway point. If you turn it on the side under bright light, you can see into the phone.

It simply causes me to worry about moisture and longterm durability.

I like the Maxx a lot, but this one thing concerns me.

ok i just did what you said and yeah i can see inside the phone doing that. I wouldn't worry about it though. Did you buy the insurance just in case something happens to it? I always carry insurance on my phones cause you never know what will happen.
I don't think any phone is absolutely tight though.
