we are all entitled to our opions. i went last week to my local circuit city store. they actually had a live phone, and not a dummy. nicer design, but the quality was beyond words. why, why, why motorola? i originally was so exited to get my hands on it. why plastic? oh well, i have my new metal lg8700 😡

Maybe because Plastic doesn't dent when dropped and Plastic may be more impact resistant?

Almost every new car has a plastic front ends and they work well and are strong. They don't dent like metal either.
