Motorola RAZR maxx Ve
MAXX decision
Okay, so after waiting all these months for this phone to come out, I went out once again yesterday to see how I felt about it. I cannot get past how masculine and rugged this phone is to me. I have decided against it simply because of its looks and I think that the KRzr is the phone for me. There really isn't much that I like at this time but I want to replace my Q.
Wish the Maxx came in a different color or at least I wish that the keypad wasn't black. It's just boring to me. Don't see the big difference between this and a regular krzr aside from the extra $100!

My wife and i just got two new phones on Verizon. She has a red KRZR, which she likes very much, and I have the Maxx Ve.
Frankly, I like the feel of the KRZR best (I have smallish hands), and for simple phone features, it's great. However, I like to play around with a phone much more than she does, so the better camera (2MP, and a flash), better audio features (stereo bluetooth), and bigger and faster interface are good for me. Oh, and did you know that it's black and supports my manliness? (Ha!)
Otherwise, I would have gotten the gray KRZR. Each is a great phone--Get one!
Oh--have you taken a look at the LG VX8700? It's got the same form factor as the Maxx, but it's perhaps less masculine looking. I don't think it has extern...

Decision from Motorola? Where did you hear about this? Is there a link? Did it mention the MAXX coming out differently? I would have thought if they were making it different colors, that they would have done it for Mother's Day like they did the Pink Razr that one year....
