there was an article on this page not too long ago that sprint and motorola made a deal or something and that motorola is gonna start selling cdma phones to sprint, that means the slvr and the upcomming krzr k1m and any future products, its hard to imagine cuz sprint managed to release phones that countered the razr and other similar phones, its gonna seem strange seeing sprint's logo on the slvr and krzr, i hope they work well, cuz the razr was garbage for cingy, tmo, and verizon

I actually didn't think the razr for verizon was that bad. the v3m has the removeable memory and stuff, and would be a great phone if not for vzw's crippling of the bluetooth.

Sprint will cripple bluetooth too though.

It is coming to Sprint.

Sprint and Motorola have had a rocky relationship. At first, in high school they went out on a few dates, to the prom and Motorola gave Sprint the startac phones as a gift. Then after high school, they started seeing other people (Motorola was seeing Nextel, Sprint was seeing Sanyo), and didn't talk much. Right before college, Sprint and Motorola wanted another chance. The V60C was born, and died shortly after of antenna breakage cancer. Sprint almost caught a terminal disease with this effort.
Once college began, Sprint started to see other people and married Nextel. Nextel and Motorola had a baby together called iDEN, and Sprint decided to adopt this child until it'...

Here is the deal...

Sprint IS getting this phone and whole lotta other Motos starting in the 4th Quarter.

Sprint and Moto have had a rocky relationship.

First of all, when Sprint starting using MIDP 2.0 (Java) on their phones, this turned off Moto because it is actually a bit unatural for Sprint to go this route. Sprint is a CDMA carrier, and CMDA carriers (in the USA... at least) typically go with BREW. BREW was designed by Qualcomm to be used on CDMA devices. However, Java is more popular among developers because of lower development costs and licensing fees. Also... becaue Java is used on GSM handsets, which is what MOST of the world is using. Sprint went with Java to allow more software to be available to it's customers.

It's definitely coming to Sprint. There's a completely separate entry on the Bluetooth Qualification Program Website for the Sprint version of the L7c. Here's a link. If you look, you'll see Sprint in parentheses right next to the product id L7c.

One other thing. The Sprint version is getting the OBEX Bluetooth profile. It looks like the Verizon version will not.
