Battery Life and Memory Card

What is the typical talk time using the standard battery. I've had the phone for one day and with very little talk time, I was down to one battery bar. I gave it a full charge the night before. Can you put your own music on the memory card and play it on the SLVR? If so, how do you do it? Can you use your own music as ringtones? Shocked
