Is there a way to play full screen videos on this phone?

I know the videos have to be in .3GP format, but is there any way to play them full screen? As is, video playback sucks and I'm thinking of getting a different phone. Also, when I try playing an .mp4 3GP file, it says "Not allowed" instead of the usual "File not supported"(with other files). Does this mean that the phone can play .mp4 files, but Samsung or TMobile has disabled it? Thanks!
