I looked at the Samsung Trace at the T-mobile store yesterday. Very nice, except I cannot believe Samsung did not include voice dial. Is this true? Apparently so..

Actually, there is voice dial on this phone. It is right in the voicecommands.

There is Voice Dial. I have had the phone for five days so I know what I am talking about. It actually has Voice Command which you can access quickly by holding down the "*" key. It gives you the option to say "Call Billy Cell" or "Call 999-999-9999". There are other voice commands you can do too like navigating through menus and such. You don't even have to train the phone. So this is much cooler than plain old voice dial.

According to the FAQ's on Samsung's website, and personally playing with the phone, there is NO voice dial whatsoever on this phone.

Dear Samsung,

Lack of voice-dial is why I stopped considering another mfr's top-rated phone and wound up here.

Bye?
