A2DP ?
Does anyone know how to get the A2DP(Stereo Bluetooth) to work?
I have a stereo headset, paired it with the phone. It works fine for phone calls, but it will not play music through the headphones.

A2DP is a bluetooth profile for stereo audio. The info here on phonescoop says that this phone supports A2DP, but I can't figure out how to get it to work.

yes, the stats do say that it has A2DP. However, there is probably a good reason the phone is only 99 bucks with a contract from t-mobile. I tried to play music through a headset and it wouldn't work either so you're not alone. Im not going to say 100 percent positive that it doesn't have A2DP, but just because the phone is supposed to have it doesn't mean that it will have it. Carriers can sit there with the manufacturer and hand-select which features to change, which ones to add or remove. The T-Mobile's stats on this phone mentions nothing of stereo bluetooth compatibility anywhere - this combined with other people already having problems leads me to believe what most are thinking as well now...

I dunno if you have an actually stereo headset or not, but i don't think you can listen to Mp3's through a bluetooth headset on most phones. The only phones that I know you can listen to it thru even a mono headset is nokia because nokia's route all the sounds from the phone, key beeps and everything, through the headset, I know that my main beef with samsungs is that you can not listen to it thru a mono bluetooth headset and you also can not text while listening to mp3's.
