Stereo (?) Headphones?? Help!

I love my sch-u520, but I bought two different sets of headphones, one is from Samsung on the page for the phone, and with both of them plugged in I am having trouble getting STEREO sound. I am hearing through both speakers, but I know that only the left channel is playing through both. It's weird on Hendrix, because there are parts completely omitted. Is there something I can do?? Is anyone else experiencing this?

Just to clarify, the speakers on the front play stereo fine, it seems to be limited to when I use the headphones.
