According to the useless e-mail response I got as a result of asking the question on their website, it won't be offered:

Unfortunately, updated information is not received regarding possible or
probable product launches. When equipment is launched into Cingular's
inventory the information is immediately made available via the website.
Our records do not indicate when or if the Motorola KRZR will be sold by
Cingular in the future.

Of course, this is just the first tier response. Every Cingular person I have spoken with, on the phone, at stores (including resellers) have no clue about the KRZR.

I spoke with a Cingular representative who informed me that they should be receiving their KRZR K1s within the next couple of weeks, and instructed me to keep calling back. On the otherhand, I went to CompUSA yesterday where I purchased an unlocked KRZR for $399, and saw that they have the purchase information out for Cingular's version which they also said they will have any day now. The Cingular retail price was listed at $349, and $99 with a new 2-year activation. However, for existing Cingular customers who are eligible for an upgrade (I was told 11 months was the eligibility point CompUSA uses), the price would be $174. Hope this helps.
P.S.--Loving the phone!

What is the deal with Cingular these days? It took forever for the V3i to come out and now they are taking their sweet time with the KRZR. They never even got the PEBL.

I realize I am replying to myself but here goes...

I went to my local Cingular store yesterday. They did not have a date yet for the KRZR. I was there anyway so I took a look around and I think I don't care about the KRZR anymore. I found the Cingular SYNC aka Samsung A707. Wow - this is everything I was waiting for and it's here now for 50 bucks after rebate! I'm sure the KRZR will be more than that since the V3i is way more and that's an old design.

BTW, the November/December rebate form lists both the KRZR and the Pearl.

Or you could have bought it from Amazon UNLOCKED without having to renew your contract, which is actually a little better than staying with Cingular for 2 more years:
