Slow!!!
I really love this phone! i love the sleek design and all the cool features, but I just hate how slow it is! are they all like this or did I just happen to get a bad one?

I think he means that the menus are slow, that the software is slow.
The latest firmware for North America is R4527_G_08.42.0ER.
However, I do not really see any difference in speed or functionality between that and its immediate predecessor that ended in .0BR.
You can couple these firmwares with the generic Moto NA102 or Cingular NA103 flexes and have a bug free and very speedy menu system.
Older firmware and flexes were released in the Asian and European markets before these newer software/flex combinations were released in the USA.
If you bought one of these Asian or European phones, then it is entirely possible that you might think that your phone is "slow."
