Ok I can see that the KRZR has MMS and Text & Picture messaging but what about Instant Messaging? Can anyone tell me if the KRZR K1 has instant messaging capabilities?

the cingular software load comes with Yahoo, AIM, and MSN.

Do not know if this is standard on all or not.

You'll need to have the clients available on your phone, and you will need to have to turn on the menu items that reference those clients.

If you've bought an unbranded NA102 flex directly from Motorola, then to be honest the simplest thing to do is to flash and flex the unbranded Cingular NA103 flex onto your phone. You will have to get the TMobile settings back onto the phone for Internet and MMS, which should not be all that hard. (You can manually enter them or get TMobile to do an OTA push of the settings.)

These phones are almost infinitely configurable, but you might have to learn more about your phone than you really want to know.
