Can't sync with MPT4 - any suggestions?

I updated to the latest version of Motorola Phone Tools and I can't get it to recognize my new KRZR. The computer finds the phone and lists it as an unnkown device in the device manager with the label "Motorola K1m/L7c". When I run phone tools, it looks for it, but doesn't find it.
Does anyone have a fix for this? Did Motorola just not update the drivers yet?

I'm not sure. How can I find out? I upgraded until it said I was up to date.

My MPT says its updated as much as possible and still cannot detect my k1m.

it wont let me get into the program without a phone installed so I can check the version, but it says it's updated as much as possible...

Any suggestions?

I sent BRVP/Avanquest support an email asking when there will be an update that include the KRZR. If and when I get an answer I will post their reply.

yep I would also try calling the motorola support line and complain to them as well.

I just got an email from Motorola confirming that they don't have drivers yet for the KRZR for MPT. No ETA on when they'll be available.

I get the sense that the person who responded isn't a native english speaker. 😉

Not positive this link will work, but I just posted a success story with the KRZR k1m and MPT version 4.5.1 (upgraded from 4.0.3 which came on the CD). You may have already succeeded in getting this to work, but thought I would let you know that the KRZR is now supported, though I had to jump through a number of hoops to get it working.
