Often overlooked contact feature

I've been shopping for a replacement for my Nokia 6255i and considering the K1m. One selling point for my Nokia that I now consider a must have is the fact that I can assign any category I choose to multiple phone numbers for the same contact. This allows me to assign multiple work numbers to the same contact which a majority of new phones do not allow. They typically have a preset number of each category per contact. This is also a feature on the K1m. I have reviewed dozens of user manuals for this feature and find it is seldom mentioned. Something to think about, especially if you have many business contacts.

I have the Nokia 6256i which is essentially the same as your phone. The included PC Suite software does a great job of syncing Outlook calendar and contacts. I appreciate the fact that PC Suite also syncs contact notes.

To sync with the K1M, or any Motorola, you need to use Motorola Phone Tools which is a far cry from the stability, functionality, and reliability of Nokia's PC Suite software.

I too am very interested in the K1M but must feel confident that I will be able to sync Outlook contacts and calendar.

Have you looked into this aspect yet?
