No I read in two different places that this was waterprrof. I thought it was a little far fetched so I thought I would ask. So I dont need your smart ass comments!

i HIGHLY doubt this is wateproof... water can seep into the speaker hole and hit the battery and its done. IMO it looks more water resistant than the V710 (my v710 was killed because some water got into the charger port, the krzr doesnt have a charger port on the bottom)

Hi again, Jeni! No, this phones is not waterproof. You may be thinkig that, though, because there is a waterproof phone coming soon to Verizon, but it is made by Casio.

Thank you Mary. And evryone else for your response. A waterproof phone will be awesome. I work for a Verizon agent and I know those will sell like hot cakes. Everyday people are coming in with water damage! So thatnk you so much for your response. Anyone know when we are getting our sliver? I cant wait anymore
