Can't be. Synch is an off network service, already built into the phone.

I think this is a reference to MotoSync - which indeed is an OTA service. Perhaps not available via VZW, though I do not know.
And technically, while there may be sync "already built into the phone", MPT does not yet support the K1M, nor do products from Smith Micro, Susteen, or anyone else that I can find.
Since the phone's capabilities are directly tied to the sync software application, I think that no one really knows exactly what will sync and what will not sync until we have confirmed user reports.

MPT does in fact support the phone.
I'm connected to it and it display the correct image of the phone.
The trick is to get the drivers.
Not had any luck with BT sync'ing though. MPT blows in that dept.

Please report on what exactlt you are syncing and the results.
Contacts? Does it support selection of categories to sync? Do contact notes sync?
Calendar? Do recurring events sync properly> How about calendar notes?
