if this is supposed to be an upgrade, why is is 2 mm thicker than the RAZR V3m? It might be just me, but if you are updating a thin phone, it should at least be the same thickness, if not thinner.

im not dumb i kno its narrower, but thats probably because its 2 mm thicker.

Many reviewers who've actually held the phone say the slightly thicker, but narrower body actually give the KRZR a better feel in the hand.

The rest of us will have to wait to find out...

NOBODY EVER knows when it will ACTUALLY hit the shelves until a day or 2 before it does. It could be sitting on the store stockroom shelves and that doesn't mean squat. I've seen handsets sit for WEEKS b/c of software issues that have popped up at the last minute!

Not ALL "upgrades" have to do with the cosmetics of the handset. Some of us actually care about the the performance of the unit.

Yes, but its marketed as a thin phone. Shouldn't the RAZR's replacement be thinner, not thicker?

Just as you said... A THIN phone... Not a THINNER phone. Very good observation.
