Motorola KRZR K1m

I was wondering if this phone has alert settings like my Moto 325, for example if I have a missed call, new voice mail, or new text message that I don't get right away I can set it to beep or vibrate at a specified interval. Can the Krzr do that?

Also, how is the reception and call quality on this phone in fringe areas? I am trying to decide between this and the Moto w385.
