TEXT/PIC/VIDEO MESSAGING
hello all,
I want to know whether my text/pic/video message has been viewed by the person i sent it to. I've noticed boxes next to the messages in the "sent messages" list. They either have a check mark or a green arrow pointing diagonally up. I figured the green arrow signified that the message hadn't been viewed yet. WRONG!!! So, to me, the green arrow and the check mark mean the same.

I think it can also depend on the network the receiver of the message is on. When I send to a fellow Verizon customer, I will get a check mark when they receive it. When I send to a friend on Cingular/AT&T, I don't get a check mark for a text message even though it has gone through, and often my pix messages will never get there at all. I don't know if there is a relation with the other carries or not.

Thanks but I want to know if there is a way to know if/when the message was opened.
EX.) Someone may not be by their phone and get the message but doesn't view it until later on.
