Re: BB Swan Song

The Palm Pre was doomed from the beginning. The hardware sucked, specs sucked, it was ugly and it was an exclusive device on the worst possible carrier: Sprint! Not to mention the worst marketing ever!

I think BB has a chance. A very slim one but I think if they play their cards right, they can make a comeback. Unlike Palm they're already on the right track. The devices won't be exclusive to just one crappy carrier like Sprint. Already a plus. The hardware is good, software is the best I've seen. Very promising. The apps are there. 70,000 aint bad to start. You still got die hard BB fans out there. Some people still love a physical keyboard so BB was smart about making a device just for that demographic. I also think the marketing will be better too.

In the stores the BB's will fare better too to those looking for alternative to Android and iOS. BB10 looks far pretty than those ugly a$$ same colored tiles on Windows Phone. BB10's UI will be far more appealing

I'm an Android user myself but I think BB has a chance. A very slim one but I think if they play their cards right, they can make a comeback. Unlike Palm they're already on the right track. The devices won't be exclusive to just one crappy carrier like Sprint. Already a plus. The hardware is good, software is the best I've seen. Very promising. In the stores the BB's will fare better too to those looking for alternative to Android and iOS. BB10's UI looks far more prettier than those ugly a$$ same colored tiles on Windows Phone.
